A festive wreath provides a perfect welcome for guests at Christmas and fills home with a festive feeling. Making your own is cheaper than buying in the shop (or could be free at all!) and it’s an eco-friendly solution as it is all natural. Not only they do look beautiful, but they perfume the air around them. Making wreath is as easy as wrapping presents – all you need are plants gathered from the garden or from local hedgerows! We simply went for a walk in a forest with my daughter and collected everything we need for it.

Nėra reikalo pirkti įmantrius vainikus iš prekybos centrų, kuomet labai pigiai (arba visai nemokamai) galima pasigaminti savo. Toks vainikas bus natūralus, ekologiškas ir ne tik atrodys nuostabiai, bet ir kvepės. Pasigaminti vainiką taip pat lengva kaip ir supakuoti dovanas – viskas ko jums reikia, tai prisikinti augalų iš savo sodo ar miško. Mes su dukryte prisirinkom visko ko reikia tiesiog pasivaikštinėdamos po mišką.
You can make your own wreath base or simply buy one, depending on how crafty you are. I bought two reusable wreath bases from crafts shop, you can check your local craft shop or get them online (£3.75 on Ebay). And then I arranged all decorative material securing with the string. You can use such materials as rose hips, sprays of berries or cones, cinnamon sticks, dried hydrangeas, orange and all you can think about! I wanted to keep it simple and natural.

Tuomet tiesiog tvirtinkite visus turimus papuošimus and pagrindo, vyniodami siūlu. Naudoti galima įvairiausias šakeles, raudonas uogas, konkorėžius, džiovintas hortenzijas, džiovintus apelsino griežinėlius, cinamono lazdeles – laisvė jūsų fantazijai. Aš norėjau kuo paprastesnio ir natūralesnio.
The best is to make a wreath hanger before you begin to decorate your wreath. I forgot to do it at the beginning, however, I simply attached a thin string in the end. And it’s done! Beautiful simplicity.
Geriausia pritaisyti juostelę už kurios kabinsite vainiką prieš pradedant dekoruoti vainiką. Šį kartą, aš pamiršau tą padaryti, tad labai atsargiai pritaisiau juostelę baigusi vainiką. Ir baigta. Grožis slypi paprastume.
