How Safe Are Crochet Cord Ties?
Some people suggested these are not safe for babies due to the infection possibility, however, another opinion is that as long as you keep them dry and out of the diaper, they are completely safe (more information here). Actually, ties are a traditional and old fashioned way to clamp the cord. I really wanted to use it for my baby, so I decided to make a matching one with the blanket. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to make it on time, as my baby arrived 2 weeks earlier. However, I made some for other mothers to give a go – these are available on my Etsy Shop.
